• Jeff Miers is a musician, composer, producer, recording engineer and music journalist living and working in Buffalo, NY.

• Jeff has been a recording artist since the early 1990s. His work as a musician and producer has appeared on more than a dozen albums.

• Jeff was the Music Critic for The Buffalo News from 2002 to 2023. Since then, he continues write about live and recorded music through a variety of outlets, including his Miers onMusic blog on Substack, his JeffMiersMusic.com site, and in Buffalo Spree Magazine, as well as through his podcast, Why Music Matters with Jeff Miers.

• Jeff was nominated for a Pulitzer Prize in 2008. He was inducted into the Buffalo Music Hall of Fame in 2014, as both journalist and musician.
