Dorian Neyra Ornelas

  • Dorian Neyra Ornelas Is a founding member of Eve Producciones which was created in 2004. The company primarily creates documentaries and short fiction films (three of which are based on Purépecha legends). From 2014 to 2021, Dorian worked in the Multimedia Production Area at El Colegio de Michoacán (a public research center affiliated with CONACyT), where they focused on science communication projects, multimedia materials, educational video games and audiovisual productions, mostly television programs and documentaries.
  • Dorian’s work has been featured in various film festivals and exhibitions across different countries, including the United States, Japan, Spain, Chile, Argentina, and Mexico. Notable events include the Morelia International Film Festival, the New York International Film and Video Festival in Hollywood, California, and the Indigenous Film and Video Festival. Dorian is also the producer of the series ‘Matices,’ which aired on national TV channel 22.
  • Currently, Dorian is a member of the Mexican Network of Visual Anthropology, a producer at the Center for Education and Audiovisual Production, and a professor at the Faculty of Arts at UABC.
