Participating in the project:

You can come join us in the field!  The Oceanic Society runs service research programs to support the research, where participants come to Ulithi and help us collect the data.  Bluecology has just started a youth volunteer program for high school and young college students (learn about the 2015 team members here). These are amazing experiences – a once in a lifetime adventures to a remote atoll to get hands-on volunteer experience with teams of community members and scientists.

There are comfortable accommodations on one of the islands (Falalop), despite the remote location. Travel to the island is aboard a small 9 seat charter flight out of Yap.Volunteers can help with: web design and content, materials development, outreach and fundraising, on-site data collection, instrumentation development, and any other area of interest!
